Wow, I'm impressed. Food, humor writing, dog biscuits – when do you sleep? The dog yummies look wonderful. I think I'll try a gluten-free version with teff or millet. Nah, I have a hard time squeezing in the time to make people biscuits, let alone the doggie version! Loved reading this post though!
In good health (people and pups alike),

sadly, i had to leave my pups behind when i moved to ny. they're southern dogs at heart (favorite pasttime: roaming the farm and barking at the cows), so i don't think they'd be happy here anyway.

where i come from, the concept of washing one's vehicle is unfamiliar. in fact, the dirtier your truck, the more superior you are. :)

Got it on the lighting - I think mine come out best when I haul the stuff out to the picnic table and shoot in natural light without the flash too - good to know I'm on the right track!

I have a digital macro setting on my camera that I'm using to good effect I think. I love getting a nice clear close up shot. I guess we both just keep plugging away!

looking forward to your next post - L

Lisa- Thanks, my Scout is a handsome boy. He really so needs to go on a diet along with his owner I must say.
And do make these for your Scout.

On the images. Thanks again as I have come a long way from the blurry images I started with. Frankly, it is hit or miss as I am so new at this and not to sure why they come out or don't. Actually reading the manual might help!

I do notice a difference with the natural light to my back. My best shot is the mixer. I was close to the french doors with the light to my back standing on a foot stool. The flash is always turned off. I really need a close-up lense though. I take so many shots to get a half decent clear one.

Good morning - these look wonderful! And Scout is so cute, I mean handsome! Now my Scout wants some for sure. Like yours, he was casting me some looks this weekend as I baked people food instead of dog food.

Compliments on your photographs, btw, they are very nice - how do you get the lighting right? Mine are always a bit off, to me anyway . . . .

Cheers - Lisa
